
It’s the end of an era for Harps Food Stores and Dan Wrenfrow on Friday, August 13 when Dan officially retires from Harps.
Wrenfrow has spent 47 years in the Grocery Store business.
He told us he started the business when he turned 14 as a bag boy and carryout.
Wrenfrow also tells us when he first started at Wallace and Owens and he made $1.65.
Dan tells us that he plans to take up some new hobbies in retirement such as fishing, traveling, and being with family.
He has been with Wallace and Owens, and the transition to Harps, including plenty of remodels
Out of all the positions throughout the years, Dan tells us that he will miss the interaction with the customers the most, and the family feeling when you enter the store.

The job also helped Dan stay local, which played a role in him marrying his wife, Terri Wrenfrow, have been married since November of 1980, and have two children, Tim and Tasha.
