We’ve got new information into the Nettleton Avenue road issue and it sounds like a solution is on the way.
Representative Ron Copeland stopped by our studios yesterday to discuss the issue with the road which comes down to funding.
Representative Copeland also tells us he had a chance to meet with Thayer Mayor Kenny Cotham.
The Thayer City Council met last night as well, during public comment, a concerned citizen spoke discussing the difficulty driving on the road at night.
Once the concerned citizen finished her comment, Mayor Cotham addressed the Nettleton Avenue road.
When I asked about a time frame, Representative Copeland said hopefully before the below-freezing temperatures reach our area.
MODOT installed a survey on the roadway this week in an attempt to see how often the road is traveled.
