The Thayer Fire Department along with Thayer Rural Fire Department conducted their annual Muscular Dystrophy Association Fill the Boot fundraising campaign this past Saturday in Thayer. Their efforts were able to raise $2524.00 this year. There is still additional money that may be in the process so this total may go up. They would like to thank all those that donated to this cause, and a special thanks to the firefighters for taking time from their families and busy schedules.
