Howell County Health Department holding vaccine clinic at OAI

The Howell County Health Department will be holding an on-site COVID-19 vaccination clinic on August 23 at Ozark Action, Inc., 710 E. Main St., West Plains.

The clinic will take place from 8:30 am to 12 pm that day at the secondary building across the parking lot from the main office. No appointments are necessary and there are no residency requirements to receive the vaccine.

Currently, the health department says they have supplies of the Moderna vaccine, which has been cleared for emergency use in individuals ages 18 and older by the CDC, and the Pfizer vaccine, which has been cleared for emergency use in those 12 and older. Children 12 and older will need a parent or legal guardian with them to receive the vaccine.
