The Missouri State Highway Patrol, along with MoDOT, are teaming up to bring the Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe commission’s teen pro-active driving school to the Missouri Emergency Vehicle Operation Course training center in Jefferson City August 28 and 29.

The event will offer free, hands-on defensive driver training to teens and their parents nationwide.

According to MoDOT, traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for ages 15-20 in the state of Missouri, accounting for almost 12.3% of traffic fatalities during the last three years.
