The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office said they would be investigating a death that occurred last Friday evening.
According to a press release from the Sheriff, the incident happened at a residence on Fout Road in the Gamaliel area.
EMS personnel were dispatched to a nonresponsive female at that address.
When deputies arrived, they found the female to be deceased, and the county coroner was called to the scene.
The deceased was identified as 46-year-old Marni Stubbs of Gamaliel.
She was discovered by her boyfriend, who then called 911 and began life-saving operations.
Stubbs’ body was sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s Officer in Little Rock for an autopsy to determine a cause and manner of death.
