Oregon County Ambulance District is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of District vehicles. Bids will be accepted from now through the end of the business day (4pm) on Friday, September 17, 2021. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. Preventative maintenance has been maintained for all these vehicles.
Vehicles available are as follows:
2015 Chevrolet Tahoe, VIN of 1GNSK3ECXFR275118 with mileage of 127,646. The engine is a 5.3L V8. This vehicle is in very good condition with nearly new tires. Everything works on the vehicle, and it is a 4-wheel drive. It is not a 3rd row Tahoe. Color is black with gray, cloth interior. Normal wear and tear for this age vehicle. Runs excellent. This vehicle also has a Ranch Hand grille guard on it. NADA and KBB. Places the value on this vehicle at between $23,400 and $27,500. If this vehicle goes to a public safety agency, the emergency lighting will stay with the vehicle. If the vehicle goes to a private individual, the emergency lighting will be removed by the District.
2011 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 ambulance, VIN of WDPPF3CC4B9496643 with mileage of 191,795. The engine in this vehicle is a Mercedes engine. This vehicle is in fair to good condition. This vehicle had a new motor installed at a mileage of 172,933, thus there are less than 20,000 miles on the new engine. The vehicle runs excellent. Tires are good, everything works in the vehicle.
2011 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 ambulance, VIN of WDPPF3CC2B9484068 with mileage of 210,126. The engine in this vehicle is a Mercedes engine. This vehicle is in fair to good condition. The vehicle runs excellent. The tires are good, everything works in the vehicle.

To place a bid, please deliver in person or via USPS a bid in a sealed envelope to our District office at 722 West Walnut in Thayer, MO. The bid must include your name, address, phone number, the vehicle you are bidding on, and the amount of your bid. The bids will be unsealed at a District Board meeting as soon as practicable after the end of day, September 17, 2021. If your bid is accepted, you will be expected to make payment within 10 business days to the District via cash or certified check.
You may view the vehicles at our District headquarters at 722 West Walnut in Thayer, MO anytime Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Be aware the vehicles are in the process of being cleaned/detailed for the prospective new owners, so if you drop by before this is completed, please understand they will be cleaned prior to you taking delivery.
