The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the arrest of an out-of-state fugitive.
According to court documents, Lieutenant Jared Peterman with the Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop of a 2001 Chevrolet SUV for failing to obey a stoplight.
The driver, 38-year-old Michael Roberts was issued a citation, then arrested and transported to the Howell County Jail for two warrants from Willow Springs.
Roberts now faces charges of felony fugitive out of state, possession of a controlled substance – meth or cocaine, and two counts for failure to appear.
His bond was set at $50,500.
