
Two arrests in Fulton County led to charges being filed yesterday.
According to court records, 37-year-old Tabatha Bean was arrest on Sunday by Mammoth Spring Police Officer Darren Walters.
Officer Walters conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was displaying an expired license plate.
During the traffic stop, Officer Walters observed Bean acting nervous and moving around in an erratic manner.
Bean complied with a vehicle search. After the search, Walters found one ibuprofen bottle containing two plastic baggies with each containing a small quantity of methamphetamine and one glass smoking device containing burnt methamphetamine residue.
At a later date, the baggies were tested by the 16th judicial drug task force, which produced positive results.
Bean is facing a charge for felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, weighing less than two grams. Her bond was set at $1,500.
Another arrest in Fulton County led to drug charges.
A probable cause affidavit states that 29-year-old Joshua Golden was pulled over in a traffic stop by the Arkansas State Police for not displaying a license plate.
During the traffic stop, Trooper Jason Hooks ran Golden’s driver’s license and discovered that Golden was wanted for an arrest out of Sharp County.
Hooks then placed Golden under arrest, and when asked if he had anything, Golden revealed he was concealing marijuana in his pants pocket.
Trooper Hooks then searched Golden’s vehicle and found one plastic baggie that contained suspected methamphetamine, which a field test later confirmed.
The methamphetamine weight is greater than two grams, but less than ten.
Golden now faces a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, weighting greater than two grams but less than ten.
His bond was set at $1,500.
