President Joe Biden announced an executive order mandating the COVID-19 vaccine for employers with more than 100 employees this past week.

Since the order was announced, many local officials have spoken out against the Presidents decision.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson said in a social media post on Friday evening “Our administration will reject the Biden Administration’s attempt to enforce an unconstitutional, federal vaccine mandate for Missourians and private businesses.”

Parson isn’t the only Governor condemning the Biden administrations order either, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson stated “I have been consistent in the freedom of businesses to require their employees to be vaccinated, and I have opposed the government from saying businesses cannot exercise that freedom the same principle should protect the private sector from government overreach that requires them to vaccinate all employees.”
