After two hours and thirty minutes, the Thayer City Council came to a conclusion on relocating City Hall to the former River Country Chevrolet lot in Thayer.
Many community leaders stood up and let their voices be heard, and many citizens stood up and were vocal as well.
Alderman Michael King told more about the agreement if the city were to move.
After many back and forths between the city’s aldermen, Mayor Cotham, and citizens, the decision was finally made.
Like heard above, Alderman McKenzie made the motion, Alderman King second the motion and Alderman Shultz was the third yes, to pass the motion 3-1.
The City of Thayer will more than likely be moving to the former River Country Chevrolet lot in Thayer.
