OZH Foundation gifts child with new wheelchair
Last week, Ozarks Healthcare Therapies was able to gift a pediatric patient with a new wheelchair thanks to a fund established formed by former Ozarks Healthcare President David Zechman.
The fund assists in purchasing home medical equipment and helping cover the costs of certain medical needs for pediatric patients receiving care through Ozarks Healthcare Therapies.
We had a chance to speak with Mr. Zechman and tells us about the fund.
WEST PLAINS, MO – Ozarks Healthcare Therapies was recently able to gift a pediatric patient, Stetson Clayton, a new wheelchair thanks to a fund established by David Zechman, former Ozarks Healthcare President and CEO, and his family through Ozarks Healthcare’s Foundation. Stetson is the son of Jared and Haley Clayton of West Plains.
As a thank you to Ozarks Healthcare’s community, Zechman, his wife, Rhonda, and daughters, Audra and Alyssa, established a fund through Ozarks Healthcare’s Foundation to assist pediatric patients at Ozarks Healthcare Therapies before he and his family moved away from the area in 2013. The fund assists in purchasing home medical equipment and helping cover the costs of certain medical needs for pediatric patients receiving care through Ozarks Healthcare Therapies.
“We are proud to continue the Zechman family’s desire and passion for serving the health needs of our pediatric population through this fund,” Josh Reeves, Vice President of Development at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “Because of donors’ generosity, this fund is one of several through which we are able to pay kindness forward and continue our focus on bettering the lives of our patients and community.”
