
An accident in Howell County sent two people to the hospital Thursday according to MSHP.
Crash reports state that a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by 70-year-old Mary Wright of West Plains was traveling westbound on Route K, seven miles east of West Plains when the vehicle she was driving attempted to make a left turn into a private drive, and failed to see a 1997 Ford Ranger, driven by Steven Plante of West Plains and the two struck head-on.
The Camry also struck a 2007 Dodge Caliber, but that driver was not injured by the crash.
Wright was reported to have moderate injuries on scene, she was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, Plante was said to be seeking his own medical treatment.
