
The Food and Drug Administration announced last week that since Aug. 26 it had issued more than 300 orders denying applications by companies seeking to keep their vaping products in the market — affecting more than 1.1 million flavored vape products.
The FDA said previously it was denying applications that “lacked sufficient evidence that they [vape products] have a benefit to adult smokers sufficient to overcome the public health threat posed by the well-documented, alarming levels of youth use of such products.”
