You might have received a breaking news alert asking you to be on the lookout for a missing Shannon County man, but authorities canceled the silver alert after finding the missing man’s body.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the missing man was killed in a crash.
Crash reports state that 84-year-old Donald Burrus was driving a 2000 Ford Truck traveling eastbound on College Ave in Eminence, MO when the vehicle Burrus was driving ran off the right side of the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and struck several trees.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene by Shannon County Coroner Sam Murphy.
