The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man on terroristic threatening charges.

According to a probable cause affidavit, deputies were called to an address in Horshoe Bend about a domestic disturbance.

Once on the scene, deputies spoke with the adult victim outside of the residence.

The victim claimed her boyfriend, 24-year-old Aaron Sefers was inside the residence with their three-month-old son and that Sefers had become irate earlier in the morning.

The victim stated that Sefers strangled her and threatened to kill her and their three-month-old son during the altercation.

She also stated that Sefers threatened to  “slowly cut them up into tiny pieces” and included that he had multiple axes and swords inside the home.

After a brief negotiation time, Sefers complied with commands made by law enforcement and surrendered himself into custody without incident.

The three-month-old child was inside the home unharmed.

In an interview with the Sheriff’s Office, Aaron Sefers admitted to investigators that he placed the victim in a chokehold in an attempt to strangle her.

Sefers also admitted to making threats to kill the female victim and the three-month-old child.

He stated during the interview that he often fantasizes of inflicting torture, strangulation, mutilation, and burning upon his loved ones.

Sefers is now facing charges for two counts of felony first-degree terroristic threatening, felony aggravated assault to a family or household member, 2nd degree endangering the welfare of a minor, and interference with emergency communication in the first degree.

Aaron Seferes is being held in the Izard County Sheriff’s Office on no bond.
