
The Highway Patrol reports an accident in Douglas County that sent one to the hospital on Wednesday.
Crash reports state that a 2005 Ford F-150 driven by 73-year-old Joseph Bulfer of Willow Spring was traveling westbound on Missouri 76, two miles west of Vanzant, when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign.
The truck then returned to the roadway, began skidding, then traveled off the left side of the highway and overturned.
Bulfer was reported to have moderate injuries on the scene.
He was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, while a 27-year-old passenger sought their own medical treatment.
