The Thayer R-II School District School Board met Thursday evening and announced they would be lifting the mask mandate for the district.
That means no masks will be required due to a low consensus of COVID-19 cases across the area.
Superintendent Tonya Woods spoke to us about the mandate, and she says she’s thankful for the communities patience.
