Finally, a 19-year-old man is dead after an accident in Wright County.
A fatal crash summary states that a 2010 Hyundai Sonata driven by 19-year-old Mason Duckett of Ava, MO, was traveling eastbound on Old US 60, three miles east of Norwood, when the Sonata failed to negotiate a right turn, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene by the Wright County Coroner.
This is Troop G’s 28 fatality of 2021, compared to 34 this time last year.
