Winona man arrested for leaving scene of crash involving a death

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of a Winona, MO man arrested in Shannon County.

Arrest records state that 34-year-old Jason Shipton was arrested on charges of felony leaving the scene of a crash involving a death, involuntary manslaughter – first degree, driving while revoked/suspended – second or third offense, no insurance, failure to display valid plates, and no seat belt.

Shipton was taken to the Howell County Jail and was placed without bond.
