
On Tuesday evening, a West Plains man was arrested by the Highway Patrol on DWI charges after causing an accident.
According to crash reports, a 1999 Ford Ranger driven by 32-year-old Mason Rideout was traveling northbound on US 160, four miles east of West Plains, when the Ranger turned into the path of a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by 38-year-old Tessa Henson of Alton.
Rideout had serious injuries after the crash and was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare, then was taken to Cox South in Springfield.
Henson also had serious injuries. She was taken by private vehicle to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
32-year-old Mason Rideout faces a charge of felony driving while intoxicated with serious physical injury.
