A pedestrian was hit on Highway 160 near Alton on Wednesday night.
According to crash reports, a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by 61-year-old James Thompson of Birch Tree was traveling westbound on Highway 160, two miles west of Alton, when the vehicle struck a pedestrian walking in the lane of traffic.
The pedestrian was identified as 33-year-old Jacob Stark of Birch Tree.
Stark has minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
