Rumors continue across Oregon County of potential businesses coming to town. I spoke to County Commissioner David Stublfield about some of the rumors, and he confirmed to me that a chicken house distributor is looking at the area and is strongly considering it.
The distributor does not operate like most chicken house operations.
This company would build a house on a current resident’s land and expand from there.
I also asked Stubblefield about the broadband internet meeting at Echo Bluff.
Representative Ron Copeland was in attendance at the meeting as well.
