A West Plains woman was injured in an accident last night south of Carthage. The Highway Patrol says that 49-year-old Jennifer George suffered minor injuries when the car she was a passenger in hit a deer. The driver 48-year-old William George was not injured. The accident happened on Highway 249 just south of Carthage.
