
It’s election day across Northern Arkansas and Southern Missouri for many local authorities. In Fulton County, two school board positions are up and a 35 Mill School Tax for Mammoth Spring.
The ballot shows for the Mammoth Spring School Board of Directors Position 3 for a 1-year term; Jody Pendarvis will be against Alexis Davis.
For the Mammoth Spring School Board of Directors, Position 4 for a 5-year term; Melissa Rogers will be against Tasha Ward.
The third and final thing on the ballot will include a 35 Mill School Tax for Mammoth Spring.
You can vote at the old O’Reilly Auto Parts building in Mammoth Spring.
Polls open at 7:30, and you can vote until 7:30 pm.
Another election in Texas County will take place. The sample ballot states that there be established a Houston Rural Fire Department District and a tax of 30 cents on every 100 dollars of assessed valuation for the Houston Rural Fire District.
The other item on the ballot is for the Board of Directors position to serve for six years.
The election is between Erica Kessler, Kyle Hale, and Harold Bruening.
