An accident in Shannon County sent one to the hospital on Wednesday.
According to crash reports, a 2006 Dodge Charger driven by 51-year-old Darla Chilton of Eminence, MO, was traveling northbound on Highway 19, three miles south of Eminence when the Charger ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a sign, an embankment, then several trees.
Chilton was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains with moderate injuries.
