A judge in Cole County, MO, has ruled that health departments across the state of Missouri cannot issue orders, and any that have been issued must be lifted.
The ruling came after a lawsuit by Satchmo’s Bar and Grill’s Owner Ben Brown, located in Chesterfield, MO.
Brown has opposed mask mandates that multiple St. Louis county authorities have issued.
The Cole County court said orders violate the separation of powers, affecting the different government branches.
