
The Mammoth Spring Police Department is reporting an arrest on Nov. 20.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Assistant Police Chief Jamie Turnbough was called to a residence on 12th street for a domestic violence call.
When Officer Turnbough arrived, he was met by a victim who said her brothers assaulted her and took off.
After searching through the area, Officers Ables and Walters located Leslie Wilson and Jessica Wuest under a mattress in the basement.
Wuest stated that Wilson took her to the basement and told her to be quiet.
Wilson was arrested and found to be a parolee out of Cabot, AR, and a violent offender.
He was charged with domestic abuse, battery in the third degree, public intoxication, two counts of child endangerment, and possession of an instrument of crime.
He’s currently in the Fulton County Jail, awaiting the determination of his parole officer.
