A two-vehicle crash in Butler County killed a Doniphan, MO woman on Friday.
Crash reports show that a 2017 Toyota Rav4 driven by 59-year-old Rita Overstreet of Doniphan pulled into the path of a 2013 Lincoln MKZ driven by 25-year-old Alexis Wooden of Wappappello, MO.
Overstreet was taken to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Her passenger, 49-year-old Tammy Thomas of Doniphan, had serious injuries after the crash and was transported by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
Both the driver and passenger of the MKZ had serious injuries and were taken by ambulance to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
The crash occurred around 2:10 Friday afternoon.
