Izard County Sheriff’s Office aware of counterfeit money

The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of potential counterfeit money circling in the county. 

Chief Deputy Charley Melton said that several businesses reported counterfeit money at their business.

The money discovered was in the form of $20 and $100 bills. 

Chief Deputy Melton askes businesses to watch the money that customers use as payment.
