To vaccinate or to not vaccinate?
It’s a question many of us have faced. Those who thought they might be forced to receive the COVID-19 vaccine might be able to wait a little longer.
On Tuesday, a judge blocked the federal COVID-19 mandate, and a Missouri judge blocked the CMS vaccine mandate, requiring most hospital staff to be vaccinated.
I spoke to two area hospitals about what the halt on the CMS Mandate meant for them.
First, I spoke to Ron Peterson, President, and CEO of the Baxter Regional Health System.
I also spoke to Brittany Simers, Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at Ozarks Healthcare.
Any updates to Ozarks Healthcare’s vaccination policy will be communicated to the staff directly and to the public in the coming months.
