
The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reports two arrests as charges were filed on Thursday.
Arrest records show that Wednesday morning, Chief Deputy Charles Melton, CID Officers Sean Tomlinson and Tyler Webb, Probation Officer Josh Moorehead, and sergeant Steve Davidson went to a residence on College Drive in Melbourne.
Officers were in search of an absconder named Andrew Cupp.
After knocking on the home’s front door, police were greeted by 68-year-old Roger Langford.
Langford told officers that Cupp was not at the residence, and he allowed the officers to search the location.
Once inside the home, officers spoke to a woman who said that Langford had methamphetamine on a dresser in the bedroom she was in.
The woman was then placed into handcuffs for suspected methamphetamine possession and was later identified as 26-year-old Sabryna Irby.
Inside the bedroom, officers saw what appeared to be a drug pipe lying on top of a white dresser next to the bed.
Langford was then detained for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers also found a small bag containing a white powdery substance and what appeared to be a shank.
Langford faces charges for felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia – meth, cocaine, or heroin; both charges are Class D Felonies.
His bond was set at $10,000.
Irby faces charges for felony possession of a controlled substance – meth, a Class D Felony.
Her bond was set at $5,000.
