Last Thursday the Howell County Sheriff’s department received a call that a burglary was in progress at a residence on county road 8800. When they arrived, it was discovered that two subjects were unlawfully in the residence and had barricaded the doors. Entry was made into the residence and the subjects were arrested. A substance believed to be methamphetamine was located within the residence. Valli D. Dalton and Jacob A. Sims were taken into custody and transported to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges of Burglary, property damage, and possession of a controlled substance.
