The Howell County Sheriff’s Office says that drug charges have been filed after an incident that occurred on Sunday.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Corporal Wake made a vehicle contact at a Dollar General located in Southfork.
Upon further investigation, Corporal Wake and Deputy Foster seized seventy-two grams of a suspected synthetic cannabinoid along with $1,378 in cash.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined that a subject not on scene had actual possession given the secured nature of storage.
Charges have been filed on a subject for delivery of a controlled substance.
Police are still searching for the original owner of the drugs.
