Major thunderstorms moved throughout the E-Communications listening area on Friday evening, causing multiple power outages.
A tornado warning was issued for short periods in Douglas and Texas Counties as storms moved to the Northeast.
While our listening area was lucky to not face major tornadoes, Northeast Arkansas and Southeastern Missouri were not.
We hear reports that four people died, and multiple were seriously injured at a nursing home in Craighead County, near Manila.
