Dangerous storms swept through multiple states on Friday evening, killing numerous and leaving thousands without power.
Monette, AR, was one of the towns in Craighead County that took a direct hit from one of the many tornadoes.
The North Arkansas Electric Cooperative sent workers to assist Craighead Electric in restoring their infrastructure.
I spoke to Mel Coleman, President, and CEO of NAEC, and he says their glad to give help when they can.

I also asked Coleman if the NAEC region has ever faced significant destruction, excluding the 2009 ice storm.

Areas in Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Missouri still have curfews in place.
