The E-Communications annual Hunger Hero Campaign is almost over, and food items are still needed.
The campaign will run until schools let out for Christmas break, and for most, that will be on Friday.
Canned goods can be taken with the kids to school in Thayer, Mammoth Spring, Alton, Couch, and Koshkonong.
Items can be dropped off at FNBC in Mammoth Spring, OZH Thayer/Mammoth Spring Clinic on the Stateline, at Community 1st Bank in Thayer.
Each elementary class is competing to collect items and the class who collects the most by their cut-off date will receive a pizza party compliments of the Thayer Pizza Inn.
