A Mountain View, MO man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in Shannon County.
Crash reports show that a 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by 25-year-old Wyatt Borgman of Mountain View was traveling eastbound on US 60, ½ mile east of Birch Tree when the vehicle struck the rear of a 2022 Peterbilt 389, driven by a 46-year-old Atoka, TN resident.
Borgman was pronounced dead on the scene by the Shannon County Corner.
This is Troop G’s 35th fatality compared to 40 this time last year.
The crash occurred at 6:45, and weather conditions were clear at the time of the crash.
