
More information has been released regarding the arrest of an armed and dangerous individual who was wanted by Howell County authorities for stealing a vehicle last week.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, they received information regarding a potentially stolen vehicle at a residence within the county.
The person with information claimed that the car was stolen on Dec. 20 in Douglas County.
Lt. Jason Long with the Sheriff’s Office arrived at the location and arrested Terry Puckett without any incident.
Puckett was found to have a semi-automatic .223 caliber rifle, which he could not be in possession of due to being a felon.
He faces charges now for felony fugitive out state, tampering with a motor vehicle, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He was taken to the Howell County Jail and was placed on a $75,000 bond.
