Medical Marijuana sales in Arkansas for 2021 have surpassed $250 million.
$254 million total has been spent by medical marijuana patients this year at Arkansas’ 37 dispensaries.
When the first dispensary opened near the middle of 2019, patients have spent $486 million to obtain 71,829 pounds of medical marijuana.
Since the first dispensary opened, the state has also collected more than $54 million in tax revenue.
ADH reports that 79,167 Arkansans are active patients.
Local dispensaries report high sales numbers as well in the past year.
Since Plant Family Therapeutics in Mountain Home opened on Feb. 3 of 2020, they’ve sold nearly 4,092 pounds of medical marijuana and sold almost 200 pounds of November.
Since the Spring River Dispensary opened in January of this year, the company has sold nearly 748 pounds of medical marijuana and sold almost 75 pounds of November.
