A Midway woman was killed in a Baxter County crash on Thursday.
According to fatal crash summaries from the Arkansas State Police, a 2006 Nissan driven by 35-year-old Kristina Harge of Midway was traveling southbound on State Highway five when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and lost control. The vehicle then overcorrected and crossed into the northbound lane, striking a 2020 Jeep head-on, driven by 64-year-old Gregg Douglas of Mountain Home.
35-year-old Kristina Harge was killed in the crash, while a minor and Douglas were injured.
Douglas and the juvenile were taken to the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
The report states that road conditions were wet, and weather conditions were clear at the time of the crash.
