The West Plains Police Department asks for the public’s help identifying two people.

According to a social media post, a party reported to the West Plains Police Department that she had mistakenly left her purse at a register while shopping in Wal-Mart in West Plains on Dec. 22.

The party provided account information indicating that her cards had been used at the Wal-Mart in West Plains and Thayer.

Both locations’ purchases included several $200 VMC Gift Cards totaling $2,727.

Video surveillance files from both locations helped identify the suspects as two black females wearing masks and driving a vehicle consistent with a 2020 Audi Q5.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives with the police department at 417-256-2244 or email CrimeTips@WestPlains.net.
