
The Baxter Regional Medical Center was among eight Arkansas cities where the National Guard will be providing support during the surge of Omicron cases across the state.
On Thursday, the National Guard stated in a social media post that 40 ANG members would be sent to nine hospitals across the state.
In Gov. Hutchinson’s weekly media briefing, he stated that up to 50 ANG members could be dispatched to help in the surge.
Guard members are expected to be on the scene in Mountain Home on Tuesday, other cities across the state include Jonesboro, Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, and Springdale.
