The North Arkansas Electric Cooperative reports in its monthly newsletter that it was able to help multiple area students with new athletic shoes.
The shoes are paid for by NAEC’s Sole Power Project.
The cooperatives project began the mission eight years ago, helping third graders in area schools.
Schools in the area that will receive the shoes include Calico Rock, Cave City, Cotter, Highland, Hillcrest, Izard County, Mammoth Spring, Melbourne, Mountain Home, Norfork, Salem, and Viola schools.
