Palace Drug broken into overnight, police need help identifying suspect

MAMMOTH SPRING, AR (ECNN) – The Palace Drug Store in Mammoth Spring was broken into on Wednesday morning according to Mammoth Spring Assistant Police Chief Jamie Turnbough.

Turnbough says the alarm system was activated around midnight.

The suspect is said to be driving a dark-colored SUV.

An official with Palace Drug Store says they will be open for normal hours of operation on Wednesday.

UPDATE (1/13) –

The Mammoth Spring Police Department is still investigating the break-in at the Palace Drug Store location in Mammoth Spring.

Yesterday, we told you that police received an alert of a glass break around midnight on Wednesday morning, then responded 5-10 minutes later. 

Police say they are still searching for a suspect but know that he hit a pharmacy inside the Doniphan city limits, according to Corporal Taun Harber.

A list of items that was stolen is still being gathered by officials, but it is suspected to be scheduled narcotics. 

It was reported that the suspect was wearing dark-colored clothes and was driving a dark-colored SUV.

The string of burglaries is being investigated by the Mammoth Spring and Doniphan Police Departments, as well as the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol.
