WEST PLAINS, MO (ESN) – The West Plains High School Lady Zizzer Basketball Team will host their Twelfth Annual Zizzer Pink Out night on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at West Plains High School. Games will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the Freshmen, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams in action against Glendale. West Plains Bank and Trust Company is the sponsor for the event and all proceeds raised will benefit Ozarks Healthcare (OHC) Foundation Mobile Mammography Campaign.
The amount raised from the 2021 Lady Zizzer Pink Out game totaled $15,000, an impressive total given challenges presented by Covid. “Our health system is incredibly appreciative of the generosity shown by the West Plains Lady Zizzers, along with community partners such as West Plains Bank and Trust Company, through the annual Pink-Out tradition,” Josh Reeves, Vice President of Development at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “The funds raised by the game and T-shirt sales will be used to help us purchase a mobile mammography unit for Ozarks Healthcare, which will make more life-saving cancer screenings available to those across our service area and help contribute to added health and wellness for our entire region. We are fortunate to live and serve in a wonderful community that is supportive of our mission to provide compassionate and quality healthcare close to home.”
