DOUGLAS COUNTY, MO (ECNN) – A crash in Douglas County injured an Ava, MO woman on Saturday.
According to crash reports, a 1999 Ford Ranger driven by 85-year-old Ronald Smith of Ava was traveling westbound when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, went down an embankment, and struck a tree.
A passenger of the vehicle, 80-year-old Margaret Rosseau of Ava, had moderate injuries after the crash and was taken by ambulance to the Cox South Medical Center in Springfield.
The crash occurred around 1:30 Saturday afternoon.
