

SHANNON COUNTY, MO (ECNN) – The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office reports they are investigating a murder within the county.
According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, the Shannon County Dispatch received a phone call on Jan. 13, stating a deceased male was discovered in the yard.
Deputies arrived on the scene and found the body of 48-year -old David Alley of Eminence.
The Sheriff’s Office discovered 33-year-old Everett Stubbert of Eminence as a potential person of interest in the case.
It was reported that Stubbert was a relative of Alley.
Stubbert turned himself over willingly to authorities admitting to the murder.
He faces charges of 1st-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Stubbert was given no bond.
