On Friday, Mammoth Spring Elementary Principal Mark Taylor was the guest speaker at the Mammoth Spring/Thayer Rotary Club.
Taylor spoke on the effects of COVID-19 in the school.
He said teachers are fatigued but have fought through since the start of the pandemic.
Support staff such as bus drivers have been in short supply most of the year, which can cause kids to be late to school or doubling a driver’s route.
The community has stepped up and helped where it can, and Taylor says the school is grateful.
If you’re interested in a position with the school district, you’re asked to call the school Monday-Friday from 8-3 at 870-625-7212.
