A man from North Carolina was arrested on Saturday by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Arrest records say 44-year-old Jacob Backmon of Elloree, NC faces charges for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated – drugs, speeding, and no seatbelt.
Backmon was taken to the Thayer Police Department and was later released.
